Dance Theatre Heidelberg, led by Spanish choreographer Iván Pérez, unites an international ensemble to create emotionally resonant works at the intersection of choreography, live music and design. Touring across Europe, the company engages audiences with bold staging.

Pérez, former dancer with Nederlands Dans Theater, has directed DTH since 2018, collaborating with leading composers and designers. His choreographies for Balletboyz, Compañía Nacional de Danza and Het Nationale Ballet are acclaimed for their musicality and poetry.

DTH has forged a distinctive identity, blending physical intensity with theatricality and music. Its repertoire ranges from large-scale orchestral projects to fashion-inspired collaborations, positioning Heidelberg as a hub for contemporary dance innovation.

Silk

In Silk, Iván Pérez and fashion designer Alejandro Palomo fuse dance and couture into a sensory exploration of identity and transformation.

Pollock

Inspired by action painting, Pollock channels visual art’s energy through dynamic ensemble choreography with optional live orchestra.
