Artistic Director: Takuya Fujisawa

Contemporary Dance / Interdisciplinary – Sweden

Founded by Japanese choreographer Takuya Fujisawa in Sweden, CRAFT has developed a distinctive interdisciplinary practice rooted in research and collaboration. Drawing from Japanese sensibilities and the Nordic scene, the platform connects artists across disciplines, exploring relationships between body, material and environment.

The repertoire includes Skumitate and Come Wander With Me, detailed below, alongside Sebone, Gnugga and I rummet series and Barlast (dance film). These works have been presented in theatres and festivals across Europe, highlighting the company’s experimental and immersive approach.

Blurring the boundaries between dance, installation and performance, CRAFT creates immersive, process-driven works shaped by a cross-cultural perspective. Its evolving practice positions the platform among a new generation of interdisciplinary European creators, merging innovation, presence and collaboration.
