Accrorap

Artistic Director: Kader Attou

Contemporary Hip-Hop – France

Accrorap transforms hip-hop into a richly theatrical and deeply emotional art form. Under Kader Attou’s leadership, the company blends breakdance, contemporary movement, and storytelling, creating expressive narratives that resonate across cultures.

Their repertoire merges street energy with theatrical craft, through works such as The Roots and Un Break à Mozart, performed worldwide at major festivals and venues. Attou’s innovative approach has redefined the role of hip-hop within contemporary dance.

As the first hip-hop artist to lead a French national choreographic centre, Kader Attou elevated street dance into a celebrated theatrical art, inspiring through diversity, innovation and emotional depth.
